I ate mizutaki ramen at Ariake, a bird restaurant located in Tomioka, Koto Ward.

In Tomioka, Koto Ward, there is a restaurant specializing in gamecock hotpot called Toryori Ariake.

They serve mizutaki ramen only during lunch time on weekdays, and this time I tried the mizutaki ramen.

store entrance

Maybe you can’t find the entrance at first glance,

There is a large lantern at the entrance.

The entrance to the store itself is further back.

Signboard for mizutaki ramen only available on weekday lunchtimes

Open for lunch from 11:30 to 12:30.

I went to the store around 11:40, and it seemed like there were still plenty of seats, probably because it was a weekday.

This time

  • Mizutaki ramen
  • Chicken soup rice
  • French ground egg flavored egg

I decided to have it.

Mizutaki ramen

Mizutaki ramen has arrived.

From the name mizutaki, I had an image of a clear soup.

It may look similar to chicken broth.

However, the obvious difference is that it has thin fried chicken instead of grilled pork.

Furthermore, autumn leaves grated is also on board.

Also, you can smell the delicious chicken stock from the moment it is brought to your table.

When I ate it, there was so much flavor from the chicken that I thought the broth had been extracted from the chicken bone to the bone.

The thin noodles go well together, and it’s more like a rich chicken bone ramen than a rich pork bone ramen.

I also tried fried chicken and it goes well with ramen.

It was a very new experience.

Chicken soup rice

The rice cooked with chicken stock has arrived.

At first glance, it looked like ordinary white rice, but when I ate it, I found it to be rice cooked with a very strong chicken stock.

The rice alone was so delicious that I almost couldn’t stop using my chopsticks.

I tried not to eat too much of it because I was planning to add it to the mizutaki ramen soup later.

I tried cracking a flavored French egg.

I tried cracking a flavored French egg.

The flavored French eggs are also soft-boiled and delicious.

This looks like the boiled egg is further fried.

I tried adding rice cooked with chicken stock to mizutaki ramen soup.

After eating all the mizutaki ramen, I added some chicken stock seasoned rice to the soup.

Great for finishing

It goes best with the rich chicken soup and cooked rice.

The taste may be similar to that of ojiya, which is made by adding rice to the pot.

I will add the homemade ponzu sauce on the table.

I will try adding some homemade ponzu sauce on the table to change the taste.

The rich chicken stock tastes good, but adding ponzu sauce to make it a little refreshing was also very delicious.

Lunch time end sign

I left the restaurant around 12:10, but by then lunch was already over.

It seems that the soup will close as soon as the soup runs out, so if you are interested, you might want to go early.
