What is “Essenzeit,” the mobile bread vendor that has gained popularity among “Koto City Walker”?

Essenzeit is a mobile bakery that operates mainly in Koto Ward, changing locations depending on the day of the week and time of day. It has already been reported twice in
Koto Ward Walker and has received positive reviews from readers.

This is the third installment of the report .
I was thinking about what to have for lunch when I happened to come across a food truck. I had no choice but to buy it, so I tried it.

Here is the bread I bought this time (all)

I bought five different types that day, and I’d like to introduce three that made the biggest impression on me.

“Yakisoba Bread” looks different

The first thing that surprised me was the yakisoba bread. It
wasn’t the typical long, thin bun, but a round bun with yakisoba noodles wrapped inside .

I think they probably put the yakisoba inside and grill it together.
The yakisoba inside has a rich sauce flavor and is authentic.
It also contains plenty of bonito flakes, green laver, and pickled ginger, and it goes perfectly with the bread.

Although the combination of bread and yakisoba is a classic, this dish is on a whole different level of perfection .

“Sweet Curry Bread” – perfect for a light snack

The batter is crispy, the curry inside is not too spicy and just the right amount of sweet.
It’s not too oily, making it perfect for both lunch and snacks.

This curry bread has
a mild flavor and is recommended for people who think “heavy curry bread is a bit…”

The satisfying “Mentaiko Potato French Fries”

The mentaiko is incredibly rich and
goes well with the hard French bread, with the flavor expanding the more you chew it.

It’s packed with potato, so
one loaf is enough to leave you feeling satisfied. Perfect for those who like a hearty meal.
