There is currently no Jojoen in Koto Ward.
One of the Jojoen restaurants around Koto Ward has a store near Kinshicho Station.
It may be easy to mistake this, but Kinshicho Station is actually in Sumida Ward.
However, the next station on the JR Sobu Line from Kinshicho Station is Kameido Station, which is in Koto Ward.
Kinshicho Station is on the Sumida Ward side of the ward border.
I came to Jojoen at Kinshicho Station
Lunch menu table
There is also a side menu for lunch.
It seems like it would be perfect if you want to add a little something extra and want to try this too!
This time
- Yakiniku lunch
- mixed lunch
I decided to have
Lunch has been brought to you.
The ones on the tray are common for lunch.
- cooked rice
- kimchi
- Namul
- salad
- soup
The price of rice remains the same
- plateful
- usually
- small serving
You can choose from.
This time I made it a large serving.
This is mixed lunch meat.
For pottery
- lean loin
- Kalbi
- shrimp
there is.
It’s a little hard to see, but there’s also corn and green onions.
The store clerk gave an explanation,
The corn is said to be boiled, but you can also grill it if you like.
It is recommended to lightly sear the lean loin and enjoy it.
This is the meat for Yakiniku lunch.
This is a processed meat made from only Japanese beef.
It is served with miso sauce.
The meat laid out flat looks like a loin.
At first I didn’t know what kind of meat the lump-like meat on the right front was.
I realized this while I was eating.
The kimchi had a shape that you don’t often see, and it was layered.
At first glance, it looks like kakuni. (Of course it’s not braised meat)
When I tried to grab it with chopsticks, it broke in half.
It looked like the Chinese cabbage was layered.
Kimchi also has cucumber and radish.
It was a generous size, chewy and delicious.
The taste of kimchi is not too spicy, but after eating it for a while, you can feel the spiciness.
It was just the right amount of spiciness, not so much that it made you hee hee, but with a slightly sour taste that made you want the next one.
There are 4 types of namul.
The salad contained cucumbers and leaves like salad greens.
Thinly sliced cucumbers give it an elegant feel.
The dressing is a Chinese-style dressing with a sesame aroma.
It also went perfectly with the salad.
The Chinese soup contains seaweed and green onions.
At first glance, they looked like ordinary chopsticks, but
I thought they were all wrapped in paper, but they were actually wrapped individually.
It felt very polite.
Now let’s start grilling the meat.
First, we will start by grilling the mixed lunch lean loin.
I didn’t know how long it would take to quickly roast it.
I baked it until there was a little red part left.
The staff explained this to me when they brought me the meat.
Once the meat is grilled, it is said to be left to rest on a plate for several tens of seconds before being eaten.
When I ate it, I felt it was very meaty, probably because it was lean.
It also felt very soft and juicy.
The Yakiniku lunch meat is also delicious.
It’s already marinated in the sauce, so it’s delicious even after grilling.
It is also delicious with additional Yakiniku sauce.
I also grilled shrimp for a mixed lunch.
As it was baking, it started to warp more and more, and in the end it warped so much that I wondered if it would ever warp this much.
I didn’t know what it was at first, but the meat on the right side of Yakiniku lunch will also be grilled.
When I ate the thick meat on the right side of the yakiniku lunch, it felt like the texture was similar to tongue.
While the other meat of Yakiniku lunch is thin,
This one is thick and has a very chewy texture.
It was fun to be able to taste and compare two completely different types!
Perhaps because I was eating slowly, there was a time when the grill was starting to burn.
If you tell the store staff, they will replace the net immediately.
After we finished eating, we were brought dessert and after-meal drinks.
Lunch drinks are available when ordering.
- hot coffee
- iced coffee
- oolong tea
- calpis
You will be asked if you would like to have it immediately or after the meal.
Dessert is almond pudding. It’s very jiggly.
There is blueberry sauce on top, which gives it a slightly sour taste.
After enjoying Yakiniku, the refreshing Almond Pudding is a great way to cleanse your palate.
At the Kinshicho store, you can enjoy a view of Kinshicho Station from the 8th floor from a window seat.
It’s a strange feeling to enjoy the view of the city from a high-rise while relaxing and enjoying Yakiniku!
You will receive a mint tablet on the way home.
This is great when you’re concerned about the smell of yakiniku!
The location of Jojoen’s Kinshicho store is here.
