There is a supermarket called Shokuhinkan Aoba in Fukagawa, Koto Ward.
Food Hall Aoba regularly holds events featuring products from all over the country.
The contents vary, including puddings from famous restaurants from all over the country, famous natto from all over the country, popular ramen shops from all over the country, etc.
We hold events in various genres.
This time, the theme was ekiben, and we held a nationally famous ekiben competition.
Various ekiben from all over the country are sold, such as persimmon leaf sushi from Nara Station, squid rice from Otaru, and grilled mackerel sushi from Fukui Station!
The event was only held for one day on April 7th, so I went there on that day!
By the time I arrived at the store around 12:30, many of the ekiben were already sold out.
When I saw the flyer, I was aiming for Otaru’s squid rice and Kobe’s thick egg sandwich, but I was disappointed to find that both were sold out.
When I was choosing an ekiben in front of me,
I was curious about Hokkaido’s Hair Crab Seafood Gozen and Fukui Prefecture’s Gindara Teriyaki Sushi, so I decided to try them out.
Kiyosumi Park is right near the Food Hall Aoba Fukagawa store.
Even when we are not holding ekiben events like this one,
It seems like it would be easy to buy a lunch box at Aoba and have a small picnic at Kiyosumi Park!
The cherry blossoms were in full bloom today and we were able to enjoy cherry blossom viewing.
The park was very busy, probably because it was a Sunday afternoon and the weather was nice and the cherry blossoms were in full bloom.
These are the Hokkaido hair crab seafood gozen that I bought earlier and the Fukui Prefecture silver darara teriyaki sushi.
Judging from the packaging, it’s definitely delicious.
We also bought tea together at Aoba.
When I think of ekiben, I think of tea.
I’m excited about my lunch box until I open the lid.
You’ll feel happy the moment you open the lid! !
This time it was great to be able to enjoy cherry blossom viewing in a perfect location!
Hokkaido’s hair crab seafood gozen has many brightly colored ingredients lined up, giving it a luxurious and cute look.
The moment I opened the Gindara Teriyaki Sushi, the force of the Gindara was amazing.
It feels like there is more cod than the package.
Scallops have a strong flavor;
The rice is also soaked in the flavor of the scallops and the soup stock, making it delicious like takikomi rice.
The crab rice also smelled like the ocean.
It has a delicious crab flavor and just the right amount of salt.
The soup was also soaked in the rice like takikomi rice.
The sweet shrimp is also very sweet, and when eaten with the kinshi omelet and rice, it feels like chirashi sushi.
There are also pickles next to the sweet shrimp.
It’s neither too bitter nor too spicy, making it a great dish among seafood gozen.
At first, it felt like mustard greens, but when I looked at the ingredients, I realized that it was rape blossom radish pickled in soy sauce.
The salmon roe burst in my mouth and was fresh and delicious.
The salmon had just the right amount of sweetness and elasticity, and I was very satisfied.
The moment I put the silver cod in my mouth, I was surprised at how delicious it was.
It was plump, crumbly, and juicy all at once, and it was surprisingly delicious.
It was a great lunch where I was able to enjoy delicious local ekiben that I don’t usually eat while looking at the cherry blossoms.
Food Hall Aoba regularly holds events featuring products from all over the country.
I’m looking forward to the next time!
