My experience taking half-birthday photos at Studio Loulou in Koto Ward.

[Experience Report] Half-birthday photoshoot at studio Loulou in Koto Ward! Realizing the growth with the same composition as the maternity shoot.

I visited “studio Loulou” in Miyoshi, Koto Ward, where I had my maternity photos taken before giving birth.
The baby who was in my belly back then is now six months old. This time, I visited again to celebrate my baby’s half-birthday.

Shooting begins! “Before and After” using the same composition as the maternity photos.

The same studio, the same composition. I truly felt the happiness of having the child who was in my belly right in front of me.

First and foremost, we wanted a family photo taken in the same composition as our maternity photos.
This photo, which captures the baby’s growth over the past six months, was something we absolutely wanted to have.

A photo of me with Mom and Dad.

The photographer kept suggesting compositions that we would never have thought of ourselves.
We were worried about our baby being shy around strangers, but the photographer soothed the baby and eased her tension, so the photoshoot went surprisingly smoothly.

With a professional perspective, they were able to capture natural expressions from both parent and child.

Baby solo photography: A variety of adorable poses

After changing outfits, it’s time for a photoshoot of the baby alone.
They capture every precious moment, from lying on their back and stomach to posing in a basket—poses you can only see at this age.

The photoshoot proceeds with the photographer adjusting to the baby’s eye level, eliciting smiles along the way.

The best smiles! A quality we can’t easily capture ourselves.

Finally, a picture with the whole family.

Finally, we had a family photo with the baby as the main focus.
They suggested loving compositions such as “holding Mom and Dad’s fingers” and “supporting both of the baby’s feet.”

A heartwarming family photo of a baby holding Mom and Dad's fingers.
Tiny hands and big fingers. A favorite photo that captures the feeling of family bonds.

After filming: It was an hour that flew by.

The whole process , from check-in to completion,
took about an hour. Thanks to the efficient pace, the baby didn’t get fussy at all.

Taken with my own smartphone during a break in filming. It really conveys the warm atmosphere on set.
