Discover the taste of Shinshu at Kinshicho Marui! Savor the deliciousness of Nagano at the local product fair

At Kinshicho Marui in Kinshicho, product exhibitions are sometimes held. They are held right inside the entrance, so if you pass by, you can’t help but stop by. This time, a product exhibition from Shinshu Nagano was held!

A wide range of Nagano flavors! Local specialties that you’ll want to buy

Speaking of Shinshu, there are many delicious miso and local dishes.

Shinshu Miso
Sanzoku-yaki sweets
Oyaki (Nozawana, eggplant, pumpkin, etc.)

It was a lineup of flavors that are truly unique to Nagano.

I was especially interested in the green onion miso . I had tried it on a trip to Nagano before and was so impressed with the taste that I immediately bought it. I put it on top of freshly cooked rice at home and it was so delicious that it made me want to eat more and more rice !

There are endless ways to enjoy a trade fair!

Also, when I saw the Sanzoku-yaki sweets, I remembered the authentic Sanzoku-yaki I had eaten in Nagano, and I felt like “I want to go and eat it again!” Bringing back memories of travels is one of the joys of a product fair.

There is a wide variety of oyaki, including not only the standard Nozawana, but also eggplant and pumpkin. I wanted to try everything and ended up being distracted by the choice.

Kinshicho Marui regularly holds product fairs, so I’m looking forward to seeing what local specialties will be on display at the next one. It’s great to be able to easily buy delicious food from areas that you normally can’t get to!

When I go to a food fair, I often find myself thinking, “I wonder if I’ll travel there next time,” and I get to experience the excitement of food and travel at the same time. I’ll be sure to stop by again next time, hoping for some unexpected discoveries!
