Perhaps because of the warm winter in 2024, cherry blossoms bloomed a little later than usual.
Instead, has it already bloomed? It was great because I was able to take my time to observe the blooming process.

Cherry blossoms at Kiyosumi Park on April 3rd.
The temperature dropped again on this day, reaching a high of 16.6 degrees.
When I looked at it from a distance, it looked like it was in full bloom, but when I looked closer, it looked like it was only about 6 minutes in bloom.

Many rivers flow through Koto Ward, and there are also many bridges.
Cherry blossom trees are planted along the Sendai Hori River near Kiyosumi Shirakawa.
When you cross the bridge, there are many places where you can see that you are surrounded by cherry blossoms no matter whether you look to the right or to the left.
The statue of Basho Matsuo next to the seaside bridge also looks like he is enjoying the blooming cherry blossoms.

The cherry blossoms, which had not yet bloomed a week ago, have now bloomed and are illuminated by the night light, making them look very beautiful.

On this day, a nationally famous ekiben competition was being held at the nearby Food Hall Aoba.
